Description
Modern sandwich panels are a construction consisting of three layers, which additionally use thermal insulation, which is located between two profiled sheets. Roof sandwich panels PU have stiffening ribs on one side, installed as special protrusions in the form of usually a trapezoid. The building material differs greatly from one another.
Polyurethane sandwich panels are installed with special fasteners. They are versatile and can be used as conventional cladding equipment. Due to the ease of assembly, the material can be assembled directly at the construction site.
Features of roof sandwich panels
The main advantage of the material is all the equipment required for installation. There is insulation and protection in one construction. By installing roof sandwich panels made of EPS you will solve several main tasks at once. In addition to insulation, the roof covering is suitable as a waterproofing covering.
Advantages of sandwich panels:
- Only a long service life especially when properly installed;
- Low specific weight, even to the point of reducing the load on the rafters;Expanded polystyrene foam can withstand any heavy loads;
- Minimal damage;
- High thermal insulation characteristics;
- High level of fire resistance;
- Increased aesthetic technical qualities;
- Instant assembly of the roof covering;
- The building material is not subject to any climatic parameters of a particular region.
You can add roof panels to this list – MWS panels with minimum slope. But they are matched to the total length of the purlin. With an additional slope of 10 degrees, panels of any length can be installed by butt jointing them together. Mineral wool sandwich panels are a versatile and readily available material that is often used today to cover roofs, regardless of the main purpose of the building. They are particularly suitable for residential buildings. Some manufacturers strictly adhere to basic requirements that consider the practicality and sustainability of the roofing material.
Moreover, mineral wool is considered to be a high quality insulation material that has a high level of strength and density. The metal protection prevents rainwater from entering the roof.
